This hotel in Bucksport exceeded my expectations in several ways. First, the location was superb, right in the center of town with a lovely view overlooking the river, Fort Knox, and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. The scenery was fantastic! Second, the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. They made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Finally, the room was the most comfortable I've experienced in a while. It was clean, cozy, and had all the basic amenities I needed. Additionally, there was a wonderful restaurant conveniently located across the street.

All was well, no improvements necessary.

Our stay at the inn was comfortable and clean. Despite the dated appearance of the room, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. we had a pleasant experience at this hotel.

View of the bridge is unbeatable. Staff was very friendly.

Breakfast is simple; nothing much. But a great dinner just down the street.

Fort Knox Inn is a great place to stop as you travel along US Route One. This is a very clean and friendly hotel. The beauty of the Penosbsot River along with the Bridge and Fort Knox across the way makes for a peaceful time. My husband highly recommend. Staff is great!!!

The view from my room at Fort Knox Inn was absolutely breathtaking. I loved waking up and seeing the river and the bridge right outside my window. The location was perfect for all our weekend activities and the river walk just below the hotel was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly and made us feel like part of the family. The WiFi and TV worked well, making it easy to stay connected and entertained. Despite some minor inconveniences, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its beautiful view and great location.

Every time we visit Bucksport, we choose to stay at this hotel. The property offers great accommodations with spotless rooms. The room rates are very reasonable. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, being the closest to Bar Harbor.
